Job Description
Our Private Equity Analyst Internship Program offers hands-on experience in valuation, due diligence, deal execution, and portfolio management. Interns work directly with investment professionals across all stages of the deal process and engage with portfolio company management teams, building skills in financial analysis, strategic thinking, and operational improvement. As an intern, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work alongside partners at the ground level of a growing firm, gaining exposure to both deal execution and the building blocks of a private equity platform. This is a paid internship requiring approximately 10–20 hours per week during the 2026–2027 academic year. The internship may extend into the summer of 2027 with an increased time commitment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support due diligence on potential investment opportunities
• Conduct industry and financial analysis to evaluate opportunities and trends
• Build and maintain financial models and prepare investment summaries for committee review
• Assist with portfolio company reporting, valuations, and monitoring
• Prepare customized reports for investors and operating partners
• Contribute to other firm initiatives and projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
• Current undergraduate student majoring in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field
• Anticipated graduation of May 2028 or later
• Minimum 3.2 GPA
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior internship experience (finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting)
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in team settings
• Familiarity with PitchBook, Salesforce, and/or S&P Capital IQ is a plus
• Self-motivated with strong initiative and attention to detail
