CVJP (Community Veteran Justice Project) is a nonprofit public-interest organization that supports justice-involved veterans through alternative sentencing, diversion programs, and holistic services. For students in law, social work, public policy, business, or communications, CVJP offers internships tailored to educational and career goals.
Position: General Internship (Remote)
Location: Remote; official base in Los Angeles County, CA
Compensation: Volunteer (eligible for academic credit if approved by your school)
Duration: Flexible, semester or summer-based; Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter start dates available
Hours: Flexible
Responsibilities include:
Orientation and training on CVJP’s mission and model
Client intakes and follow-ups
Case tracking and service coordination
Opportunities to work in communications, social media, PR, grant writing, and nonprofit management
Collaborative work with CVJP’s director and staff in a supportive, hands-on environment
Qualifications:
Exceptional people skills and communication abilities
Strong writing and editing skills
Dependability, flexibility, and eagerness to learn
Commitment to serving justice-involved veterans
