Job Title: Part-Time Social Media Content Creator & Marketing Assistant
Position Overview:
We are seeking a creative and reliable Social Media Content Creator to support our studio by consistently posting and promoting classes, workshops, and special events. This role is ideal for someone who can take updates and turn them into engaging, on-brand content that drives interest, bookings, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and post content a few times per week across Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
- Promote new class offerings, workshops, guest instructors, and training opportunities
- Design and post engaging reels, stories, and static posts to drive attendance and bookings
- Capture in-studio content (classes, instructors, behind-the-scenes, events) as needed
- Write captions that are clear, engaging, and aligned with promotions
- Keep content organized and aligned with upcoming studio announcements
- Highlight special events, limited-time offers, and key updates in a timely manner
- Monitor engagement (comments, messages) and respond when needed
- Stay current with trends and apply them in a way that fits the studio brand
- Work closely with the studio owner/manager to stay updated on upcoming promotions
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience creating content for Instagram and TikTok
- Ability to create simple, clean, and engaging promotional posts
- Basic video editing skills (Reels/TikTok)
- Familiarity with apps like Canva, CapCut, or similar tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction
- Good communication and reliability with posting consistency
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fitness, dance, or wellness content
- Understanding of what drives engagement and bookings on social media
- Basic branding and aesthetic awareness
- Comfortable filming in a studio environment
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience or portfolio of social media content (personal or professional)
- Availability for part-time work and occasional in-studio content capture
Schedule & Hours:
Part-time position (approximately 10-15 hours per week). Flexible schedule with a mix of remote posting and occasional in-studio content creation.
