Mohr Career Services is open!
If you can make it to campus safely, we'd love to see you.  You can also reach us @lcbcareer on MS Teams.

Here’s what some of our industry partners had to say about working with us:

Recruiting and connecting with business students at UO couldn’t be a more smooth process. The staff in Mohr Career Services are not only quick to respond, but eager to connect with industry partners and to help them build relationships with students and faculty. Their efforts to facilitate employer events and interactions on campus clearly exemplify how passionate they are about serving their students and preparing them for their transition from student to professional. I always look forward to visiting UO and consistently see great return when we hire Ducks!

Mohr Career Services provides a wide range of opportunities for companies and organizations to engage our students. Employers are invited to pursue connections that encompass and go beyond direct hiring and have numerous opportunities to build a presence with students to achieve their recruiting objectives and improve outcomes.

On-campus recruiting activities give your company the opportunity to have more face time and access to current students.

Below are some examples of on-campus, off-campus, and virtual recruiting activities that employers typically use to engage with our students. Mohr Career Center staff is also open to discussing any new, creative ideas you would like to bring to the table. Contact us!

Handshake is a searchable database of jobs and internships available to more than 22,000 students and alumni. You can also use Handshake to schedule on-campus recruiting, register for career fairs, and sign up for special events.

Coming soon!

Information sessions provide students with an opportunity to gain insight, meet with company representatives, and learn about internship or full-time opportunities. Employers are encouraged to host an information session once they post their recruitment opportunities on Handshake but prior to the application deadlines.

  • Mohr Career Center team will work with you to actively promote your company’s information session, and the approach can be tailored to address your firm’s specific needs.

Here are some helpful guidelines to facilitate the planning and execution of your information session:

  • To organize an information session or presentation, submit a request by completing this form. Requests will be reviewed and confirmed on a rolling basis
  • Information sessions can be held during the majority of the academic year with the exception of exam periods and holidays/breaks. Please review the “Key Dates” in Recruiter Resources.
  • These sessions are usually scheduled for 60 minutes. For on-campus sessions, company representatives can access the event space approximately 20 minutes before the session is scheduled to begin.

Tabling events are designed to provide space for companies to come and set up at a table in the Lillis Business Complex Atrium.  We will provide you with a table and you can bring company signage, small swag items, etc.  The Atrium is full of student foot traffic throughout the day during the school year, so tabling provides an opportunity to be visible to many of our students.

Just let us know what day(s) and time(s) you are interested in and we will confirm if we have space available.

Let us help you get to know us. Familiarize yourself with our student population, concentrations and specializations, and the unique environment at the Lundquist College of Business. Align your company’s opportunities with current student interest. Consider what your company has to offer and we can help you position your firm to our student population. Hosting interviews for our students is an excellent way to attract more applicants for your job or internship. These interviews can be hosted in person or virtually. Regardless of what platform you use, we always suggest promoting your interview through Handshake.

The Lundquist College of Business is working hard to prepare the next generation of business and community leaders. A crucial part of preparing students is helping them understand and demonstrate the awareness, attitude, knowledge, and skills required to equitably engage and include people from different local and global cultures. It is also encouraging and exposing them to anti-racist practices that actively challenge the systems, structures, and policies of racism.

Our students want to learn about your organization’s culture and work to improve diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging in your organization. Sharing this information with our students is an excellent way to promote your organization and educate the next generation of leaders. This leads to improved brand awareness, increased interest in your organization, more interested applicants, and better candidates to hire.

Please fill out the form to the right, or contact us if you are eager to share about what diversity, equity, inclusion, or belonging looks like at your organization.

Mohr Career Services will assist with organizing student-group visits to employers’ offices throughout Oregon. Site visits allow employers to give Lundquist College of Business students a firsthand view of their operations, products, and people.

Sharing your career journey helps current students understand their own. Include things you wish you had known when you were a student, tips for navigating their job or internship search, and any other career advice you have to share.

The Lundquist College of Business has over 20 business student organizations. Connecting with these groups is an effective way to reach students who are interested in specific industries, functions, or geographic areas. Mohr Career Center team is happy to help employers connect with the student organizations’ leadership. Please note, that not all organizations are active every academic year.
