This is National Transfer Student Week—and we want to welcome our transfer students to the UO!
I’ve met with many transfer students as a career advisor. Each student has made a unique journey to the UO, bringing an individual context that helps to enhance the Lundquist community. Some students integrate into Lundquist with apparent ease, while others may struggle initially. Whatever your current experience may be, don’t forget that there are many resources available to all Lundquist students. These services exist to help students get where they want to go.
Here are just a few of the resources available to help you make the most of your time at UO:
- Make an appointment with a Mohr Career Services advisor and develop a career exploration plan.
- Find your community by trying out one or two of the Lundquist Clubs.
- Explore internship and career options by attending networking and career events.
- Maximize your academic performance by visiting Braddock Tutoring.
- Stay on track to graduate by connecting with Academic Advising and following your course plan.
Everyone follows a slightly different path in life and this variety of experience adds to the ingredients that make up the robust culture of the Lundquist College of Business. You belong here! We are so pleased that you have chosen to study at the UO.
To enhance your experience, check out these events as the UO celebrates National Transfer Student Week.
Come and see us! We look forward to meeting you.
