Mohr Career Services is excited to partner with student clubs, Operations and Business Analytics Club (OBAC) and American Marketing Association (AMA), to present our signature event for Winter Term: BizCareers in Marketing, Operations, and Anayltics! On February 1st, 2023 BizCareers will kick off with an alumni panel from 5:30-6:30pm in 182 Lillis, then fill the Lillis Atrium with over 25 alumni and industry friends, including the panelists, with delicious food and refreshments for all!

This event is open to all business students, as well as non-majors interested in these roles and opportunities. Whether you know your concentration or are exploring, whether you are sure about sports marketing, or considering operations, this event has opportunities for you to learn, engage, connect, and grow your career goals.

This event kicks of with a rockstar panel of alumni in a variety of industries at various stages in their careers. Each alum passed through these halls and classes, and like you, navigated the journey from the classroom to the workplace. They have roles in marketing, analytics, and operations. Some even manage multiple areas. They are eager to share their stories and career journeys. They had obstacles and struggles, from imposter syndrome to where to even start, and want to help you navigate and benefit from their insights and experience.  Our panel includes:

This dynamic group will convene at 5:30pm to take questions from club leaders and then questions from you – our audience.  Take some time to research our panel and all the companies attending which are listed HERE on Handshake. For example, we have young professionals from Intel, Amazon, and Seattle Mariners, mid-career friends from SpaceX and Wasserman. There is something for everyone and a variety of alums and industry friends ready and eager to hire as well.  Consider what questions you might have or companies or people you want to learn from and connect with at the event. Or stop in grab some food and get your feet wet saying hello.
